We provide a moss cleaning service on roofs. Moss is removed using specialist brushes and stainless steel scrapers. Each stainless scraper blade is the same profile as a roof tile. This ensures a precise fit and helps remove the moss from each roof tile.
After the moss has been removed from your roof, we apply a specialist biocide solution to the entire roof area.
The fully biodegradable biocide solution continues to work over the following months to kill any remaining moss, algae, or lichen spores.
The biocide solution remains active on your tiles and inhibits the re-growth of biofilm spores for up to eighteen months after treatment.
Before completion, we ensure that all gutters on the property are emptied, and all the windows washed. Any mess is cleaned up and removed from your property.
We also provide a low-pressure cleaning option which is suitable for some types of roof tiles. This will also depend on the condition of the roof.
We can also treat any roof after a low-pressure clean with a biocide application to inhibit any re-growth of moss, lichens, and algae spores.
The biocide remains active and inhibits the re-growth of moss, algae, lichen spores, and microorganisms for up to eighteen months after treatment.
