All year round, headstones, memorials, and statues are exposed to the elements, which naturally makes them difficult to keep clean and maintain.

Over time all headstones, statues, and memorials become dirty and covered in algae, moss, white and black lichen, and various living and dead organisms.

In some cases, it completely covers the headstone or memorial to the extent that it is impossible to read any inscription on the stone.

If the stone is not cleaned for an extended period, it is liable to suffer further damage, which can sometimes be irreversible.

We provide headstone, memorial, and statue cleaning to return your loved ones resting place back to a clean condition. We remove all of the pollutants, dirt, algae and lichens that are covering and slowly attacking and damaging the stone.

When we clean headstones or memorial stonework we only clean them by hand. We use a specialist non-hazardous biodegradable solution, combined with brushes and implements that do no damage to the stone itself.

Please note that whilst every endeavour is made to clean and return any headstone or memorial to look its finest, some wear and tear, staining, and decay are impossible to eradicate.

The longer the stonework has not been cleaned the more severe the damage can be to the stonework.

This gives the various things that damage stone more time to take effect, and become much more difficult to remove.

Whilst cleaning any gravestone or memorial that has decorative stone or glass chippings we will remove the chippings to fully wash and restore them.

Once they have been cleaned, they will be returned to the gravestone. These can also be replaced with brand-new ones if requested.

Once we have finished cleaning your loved ones resting place we will place fresh flowers on the grave. We will also take various pictures which can be emailed or posted to an address. This gives you the full assurance that all work has been carried out and completed to the highest standard and of course with the utmost respect.
